Background and skills

Working in art department is a merging of my artistic practice with technical skills. I create interior and exterior sets for films, series, music videos, and advertising. Due to my technical education and carpentry background, I can competently use a wide range of hand and power tools and also know the specific nature of various building materials. My professional interests as a set dresser/set builder span architecture, urbanism, design, fashion, and visual arts.

My passion for creativity first started at the age of 13 when I was riding bmx and with friends we turned an abandoned building into a diy skatepark by upcycling found materials and rubbish. Since I had experience as a carpenter, practiced photography, and participated in various diy subcultural activities I have organically combined these skills as a set dresser/set builder in 2020 in Minsk, Belarus.

A defining moment in my professional journey has happened in Kyiv, Ukraine. Involved in many creative projects, our team created impressive sets at film studios, including a bizarre snowman's house and a huge carousel used in French brand ads.

Now based in Berlin, Germany since Spring 2022, I continue to evolve, collaborating with industry professionals. I had work experience in Berlin/Brandenburg, Hannover, Hamburg, Sylt, and Amrum through working on the following projects:
– Uprooted for The UN Refugee Agency (Stink Films)
– Maxton Hall (SYMU) for Amazon Studios (Ufa Fiction)
– Helgoland 513 for Sky Deutschland (Ufa Fiction)
– FBI International for CBS (Central Scope Production)
– Kleo Season 2 for Netflix (Zeitsprung Pictures)
– Das Licht (X-Filme)
